Coffs Harbour Education Campus

Coffs Harbour Education Campus LED Lighting Upgrade

The Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC) is part of the TAFE NSW North Coast Institute network of facilities. The large shared campus offers unique study pathways between secondary, vocational and tertiary education.

PROJECT GOALS

As the largest provider of vocational education and training in NSW, TAFE NSW is committed to environmentally sustainable operations by improving existing facilities to minimise carbon footprint and manage resources efficiently.

OUR SOLUTION

The CHEC has undergone an upgrade that transformed the facility with brighter, more modern, energy-efficient LED lights. The classrooms and learning areas are fitted with our ultra-low-glare panels, providing optimum illumination in accordance with the Education Facilities Standard & Guidelines. As a result of the lighting upgrade, CHEC has reduced its environmental footprint significantly while also saving on operating costs.
