We are now a fully integrated energy services retailer providing front-of-meter and behind-the-meter solutions.
As we continue to acquire strategic energy assets to build on our embedded network portfolio and evolve our products and services, we have seen tremendous growth across the business and pipeline and are now seeking an experienced Project Development Engineer to lead the development and growth of our dedicated quoting team.
This is a strategic role responsible for leading and managing the preparation of tender and proposal submissions for allocated projects and managing the process between opportunity and contract award. This role will be responsible for undertaking effective measures to increase the probability of the company winning the contract and successfully completing the project. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing technical support to the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with executed contracts.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead our remote quoting team through training, support and ongoing management to ensure tenders and proposals are submitted on time, within budget and in compliance with company policy and standard procedures.
- Review tender documentation ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations on the progress of tenders and proposals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across the organization and with the customer.
- Support the project management team to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the signed contracts.
The following are essential qualifications for this role:
- 2+ years of sales experience with PV Sell or similar solar design software
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Project Management, Commerce)
- Experience in proposal/tender writing and business development
- Knowledge of the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of solar PV systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Commercially astute with strategic thinking capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
The following will be looked upon favourably:
- Knowledge of Energy Management Systems, Virtual Power Plants and Distributed Energy Resources.
- CEC design accredited
- Technical competency with Auto CAD
- Experience in working with and building remote regional team

Under our OptiTech brand, which is widely known as one of Australia’s leaders in energy-efficient LED lighting products, we have now developed our own Heat Pump Hot Water system and are taking it to market.
This expansion of our capabilities means that we have an exciting opportunity for a licensed or registered plumber to work in our Hot Water business unit across Victoria. We are a young and dynamic team focused on delivering the highest quality services to our ever-growing customer base.
