Prestons Public School is a co-educational primary school located in south-west Sydney. The school currently supports the learning of approximately 700 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

PROJECT GOALS

As a member of Sustainable Schools NSW, the school proudly upholds sustainability throughout its campus, curriculum and culture. The installation of an on-site renewable energy source supports the school’s values, assists teaching on energy efficiency, and provides operational cost savings.

OUR SOLUTION

A renewable energy system was designed for the school to reduce its grid energy consumption and costs. An online monitoring system enables the school to track daily energy generations and savings in real-time. We successfully installed the complete system without impacting the daily learning activities through minimal power shutdown.
